2026 ReadyScholarOne and Scholar's Cornucopia Jointly-Hosted Mock Round

Registration is open now for our online mock round in collaboration with Scholar's Cornucopia. All four categories (debate, writing, bowl, and writing) will be tested. 

Registration is available as a team or individual scholar. Debate adjudicator registration is also available.

Key dates include: 

• Round dates: March 18 to April 3

• Registration Deadline: March 22, 9:59 AM UTC

• Bowl date: March 28, 2:00 PM UTC (hosted in Scholar's Cornucopia's Discord Server)

1. Imagine every single person around the world stopped procrastinating. How would it be done, and how would society move forward?

2. If, in the future, artificial general intelligence were to go rogue and start trying to take over the earth, what would the world look like? Would you try to stop it? If so, how?

3. A famous quote states “fake it till you make it”, and we see companies and people follow it. Should we continue to push for this ideology or shut it down completely?

4. Are the systems behind every mechanism and action better left random? When is it better to know the truth, and is there something satisfactory about leaving things “random”?
